What retention offers are available when users try to cancel?

Retention offers help reduce churn by giving users a reason to stay when they try to cancel.

Stripe subscriptions only: You can enable retention coupons in your Stripe Customer Portal settings. Create coupons with your own discount details (e.g., 50% off, free month) and users will see these offers when they try to cancel.

To set this up:

1. Go to dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/portal
2. Enable cancellation flows
3. Create and configure your retention coupons

Apple & Google subscriptions: Retention offers are not available for App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Users cancel through Apple/Google directly, and those platforms handle the cancellation flow.
