API Terms of Use — Your Move Exercise API, Nutrition API, Recipe API, Workout API, and related Your Move APIs
These API Terms supplement the general Terms and Conditions below. By subscribing to any Your Move API, you agree to these API Terms in addition to the general terms.
1. Definitions
- "API" means any programmatic interface offered by Your Move, including but not limited to the Exercise API, Nutrition API, Recipe API, Workout API, and Yoga Video API.
- "API Key" means the secret credential we issue to you to authenticate API requests.
- "Brand" means a single product, website, or mobile application you register against your license.
- "Videos" means exercise, demonstration, or workout video files and any associated thumbnails, transcripts, or metadata returned through the API.
2. API Key
Your API Key is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping it secret and for all use made under it. You may not resell, sublicense, share, or redistribute your API Key or the raw responses, Videos, or data it returns to any third party. If your key is compromised, contact us immediately to have it rotated.
3. Brand Licenses
Every API subscription includes a Brand License that limits API content use to the Brands you register with us. Each Brand covers one website and one mobile application under the same brand name. Using API content for any Brand that is not registered on your license is a breach of these terms. A printable Brand License document is available for download from your dashboard and is issued via email at sign-up.
4. Usage Limits
Every plan is subject to the usage limits shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase, including: (a) API minutes per month, (b) the monthly exercise cap on monthly plans (yearly plans have no monthly exercise cap), (c) the number of Brand Licenses, and (d) form-analysis and food-analysis quotas. We may throttle, degrade, or suspend access that exceeds these limits. Abuse of the service — including scraping intended to extract the full library, automated credential stuffing, or circumventing rate limits — is grounds for termination without refund.
5. Videos Require an Active Subscription
Videos are licensed to you only while your subscription is active. If your subscription is cancelled, lapses, or is terminated for any reason, your right to use Videos ends immediately. You must stop using any Video URLs previously returned by the API and delete any cached or downloaded Video files from your systems. Video URLs returned by the API are time-limited and intended to be re-fetched; do not store them long-term.
6. Trial & Billing
New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to the paid plan you selected and your payment method is charged automatically. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; see the general terms for the refund policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the API to build a product whose primary purpose is to compete with Your Move by redistributing our exercise library, to train a machine-learning model on our content without a separate written agreement, or for any unlawful purpose. Reverse engineering of the service, or attempts to bypass watermarking, licensing, or metering, are prohibited.
8. Changes
We may update these API Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the API after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
