What metric and habit types are available?

Metrics and habits let you track anything your users need to log. Go to Metrics (& Habits) and click + to create a new item. The following types are available:

  • Body Weight: for tracking weight over time
  • Number: for any numerical value (reps, hours, etc.)
  • Text: for short written input (quick logs, feedback)
  • Textarea: for longer written input (journals, notes, reflections)
  • Multiple Choice: users can select multiple options from a list you define
  • Single Choice: users pick one option from a list you define
  • Metric Select: lets users select from other existing metrics
  • Measurement: for height or length values (feet or cms)
  • Scale: define your own scale with custom labels
  • Percentage: for tracking percentage values
  • Image: users can upload a photo (progress pics, food logs, etc.)
  • Daily Steps: for step count tracking
  • Pace Values: predefined pace levels (Easy, Marathon, etc.)
  • Power Zone: predefined zones (1 through 6)

Once created, metrics can be embedded in forms on any screen, included directly in a program, or displayed as a categorized list on a screen. Users can view their own tracking history, and coaches can view responses under Dashboard > Users > View All > select user.
