How do you calculate advised daily calories?
You can set yourself the activity factors and minus factors based upon goals & activity a user selects. Otherwise, we use a basic formula.

Step 1. Calculate the basic resting calories. The app uses the Revised Harris-Benedict Equation (W=Weight, H=Height, A=Age):
For men:
BMR = 13.397W + 4.799H - 5.677A + 88.362
1111 + 887 - 179 + 88
For women:
BMR = 9.247W + 3.098H - 4.330A + 447.593

Step 2. Based upon a person's activity, the resting calories get multiplied by a factor between 1.1-1.9. This is configurable in your settings.

-> Step 3. Upon your client's goals, a number of calories is subtracted. For instance, if someone sets Weight loss, 400 kcal per day is subtracted from the advised daily calories.

Also, these goal settings are configurable

-> Step 4. Overwrite daily advised calories per person.
